Module 1
Chapter 0: Introduction to Gamakaas
Get properly acquainted with your instrument and the core concepts of Carnatic music. This chapter sets the foundation, ensuring you're comfortable and ready to begin your musical journey.
Module 2
Chapter 1: Beginning our journey to the world of Carnatic guitar
Dive into your first exercises, learning fundamental techniques and the expressive 'gamakaas' that give Carnatic music its unique voice on the guitar. You'll build the muscle memory and theoretical knowledge needed for the chapters ahead.
Module 3
Chapter 2: From exercises to songs
Bridge the gap between practice and performance. This chapter introduces you to 'raagas' (melodic frameworks) and 'geethams' (simple songs), teaching you how to make the guitar truly 'sing' with melodic expression.
Module 4
Chapter 3: All about time (Layam)
Master the backbone of all music: rhythm. Learn about 'Layam' (tempo) and 'Kaalam' (speed), developing a strong internal clock that will make your playing tight, professional, and rhythmically confident.

Chapter 4: Gamakaas & their forms
Here, we take a step back from learning to observing. To wrap the fundamentals lesson, we walk through the various kinds of gamakaas that are commonly used when playing Carnatic on the guitar.
